NTS Scholarships
Firstly, many people ask me to tell how they can apply for NTS Need Based Scholarship if they get good score on NTS GAT (General) test. First of all, you should confirm whether you are eligible for the scholarship?
Eligibility Criteria:
♦ Firstly the applicant should get admission in any program of Undergraduate/Graduate level in NTS Associated Universities.
♦ Secondly, applicant must qualify NTS test for admission in NTS Associated Universities for Undergraduate (4-years) or Graduate (2-years) program.
♦ Thirdly, an existed students of NTS Associated Universities are also eligible to apply provided that they have maintained a minimum of 2.50 GPA in their preceding semester
♦ Moreover, for students of Medicine & Pharm-D, having Five (5) years of education, funding will be provided for throughout 5-years of study.
♦ Additionally, the scholarship will be granted majorly on bases of financial need of the applicant, while looking on the financial background of the applicant and his/her family.
♦ Finally, if selected, the applicant will be rewarded throughout the program in the University.
What Scholarship Covers?
1.) First, the scholarship will cover Full academic (Tuition) fee. NTS will pay the full academic fee of the applicant if selected.
2.) Second, the scholarship will include monthly stipend of PKR 5,000 for a period of two semesters, that is, Nine (9) months.
What field of study is eligible?
It applies all field of study that the NTS Associated Universities offer.

How to Apply?
Applicants can obtain NTS Need-based Scholarship Application Form from the Financial Aid Office (FAO) at the NTS Associated Universities / Institutions or can download the scholarship application form.
The complete Scholarship Form along with supporting documents should be submitted to the relevant office of the University for further processing on the application. The application form must receive in time. Additionally, the deadline can be find through the University through which the applicant is enrolling or will enroll there.
Scholarship Awarding Process:
♦ The University Internal Scholarship Award Committee (UISAC) processes the application forms of the potential candidates. The UISAC is be responsible:
◊ to ensure impartiality and transparency of the process.
◊ for the assessment and verification of the documents.
◊ to provide complete application forms of the recommended applicants along with their pre-requisites to NTS.
♦ The UISAC recommends potential candidates to NTS Scholarship Management Committee (NTS SMC).
♦ The NTS Scholarship Management Committee (SMC) reviews and awards the scholarships to the UISAC’s recommended applicants.
♦ The University Internal Scholarship Award Committee (UISAC) processes the application forms of the potential candidates. The UISAC is be responsible:
◊ NTS CEO or his nominee as convener
◊ HEC Representative
◊ Secretary NTS
◊ Senior Manager Office Development-NTS
◊ Senior Corporate Manager-NTS
◊ Assistant Director Scholarship Wing-NTS
♦ NTS direct them to submit a Deed of Agreement (a legal agreement between two parties) with the relevant NTS Associated University / Institution.
♦ The format of ‘Deed of Agreement’ is provided to all the Awardee’s.
♦ Deed of Agreement on Stamp paper worth Rs. 100/- (whole agreement) attested by notary public is to be submitted by awardees to the university / institution.
♦ The Associated University / Institution are provided the attested copy of the Deed of Agreement and fee invoice of the selected students to NTS.
♦ NTS transfer funds as a cumulative (Tuition fee and Stipend) to the Universities / Institutions.
♦ Stipend will be further transferred to the students by the university / institution every month on the bases of their progress.
♦ Stipend will be further transferred to the students from university per semester.
